Using his own personal story about loss, Michael developed the program, “Good Grief” which operates under the mindset of the old saying; A little bit of sugar makes the medicine go down. Michael’s family always tackled hard problems with even harder laughter and that’s how Michael approaches talking about grief on stage. But Michael’s message is more than just grief, it’s about picking up the pieces after any setback in life and how to move forward with those broken pieces. So whether you’re planning an intimate meet-up or a multiple-day conference, Michael can customize his show for your event needs.

Michael is a master of storytelling, he has been doing stand-up comedy since he was 19 years old. Now, almost twenty years later, Michael has won several awards, taught storytelling classes, and performed in 47 states and 15 different countries. No matter the event, Michael’s disarming humor is sure to connect with any audience.

Michael is not a doctor, licensed therapist, or a ‘guru’ by any stretch, but he does view himself as an ally in the ongoing fight for self-betterment. Michael’s goal is to raise awareness and normalize conversations about depression, suicide, mental health, grief, sobriety, and addiction.
